A good night

Fyrie, Collie, Siria and I had a lovely time chattering to each other over tea about various fandoms and sundry. Lovely time:)

I left with just enough time to arrive at the Japanese restaurant for Anime society's end of term meal. The food was lovely. I had inari sushi (mmm, inari), battered squid (oh, the squidity!) and teriyaki chicken with a side of rice, plus lychee sorbet for desert. Sat closest to lucyjin, dizziebeth and arwynh since it was a rather large table. Nice place and food.

Afterwards, we eventually ended up in an Aussie pub where we all chatted for awhile, then switched to playing pool. I got in one very lucky shot, then lost happily to dizziebeth:) Oh, and spacelem got us all involved in a game of whist, which had me, the Hornblower fan, trying desperately not to snicker madly;)

Hehe. I found the Alternate History Blog. Find out what didn't happen today in history:) Quite amusing, even if you don't get all the references (I only get 95% of them, myself.)

And, even cooler, I just found out my grandparents are taking me and my bro on a 3-day cruise in August! I went on one with them when I was 13, but this time I'll be 21 and I suspect I'll enjoy it even more than I did before. (I'm sure I have no idea why). Here's hoping I don't step on a sea urchin this time around...
