Beowulf Icons

I can't remember who on my friendslist I should blame for linking me to the new Beowulf and Grendel movie website, but I'm sure they'll tell me and/or steal some icons. I was seduced by the pretty/silly pics on the site and made a few icons. Comment and credit please:)

1. 2. 3. 4.
5. 6. 7. 8.

And of course, there's new icons up on my website as usual, including some lovely new Kenshin ones.

Well, at least they gave him some sort of Vendel helmet. *sobs quietly*

NO ONE SHOULD DESECRATE MY BELOVED BEOWULF!

*grins*

However, your icons are lovely. ;-)

Considering Beowulf itself is sort of historical fanfic, I'm not going to be too bothered by the movie so long as there aren't glaring historical mistakes, and they seem to be doing a pretty good job style wise at least. We'll see when it comes to the plot.

Well I was was mostly joking. Mostly. ;-)

I think it's like al the die-hard Tolkien fans who were worried that the characters were unlike they had them in their heads. I have loved Beowulf for so long and he's one of the reasons why I ended up with an MPhil in Anglo-Saxon literature and linguistics. Of course I hope it'll be like it is in my head, but I don't think so.
