Mitsuwa, food, comics, manga
Went to Mitsuwa today for their festival. Met up with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
rinzei and friends. Have never seen so many people in yukatas in one place. Lots of traditional drumming and dancing and kids catching goldfish and masks etc. Had sushi and taiyaki for dinner, then we went food shopping (I regret I was not able to visit the toy and book store, but will do so later this week). New weird pocky flavours - chocobanana, and maple and butter. I bought the maple and butter and it's pretty good, if a little overboard on the butter. it weirdly enough, comes with a small packet of cinnamon which makes the sticks taste even better.
I read Constantine Tainted Love, and Damnation's Flame yesterday. I really enjoyed them, even when the graphics make me go 'eww'. It always reminds me of reading Lucifer. I can't wait to finish up the earlier novels and move onto the more recent ones though. The art just sucks in the early novels. Also finished up Furuba 11 which catches me up with the ones released in English. I tried to read Girl Got Game/Power but even though it has one of my favourite cross dressing themes, I couldn't get into it. And now, I'll go read Slam Dunk instead.
