Manga style Sandman?

There's something quite silly about the idea of Sandman, manga style (okay, technically, part of Seasons of Mists apparently and other stuff). Seeing Death listed in best shoujo character introduction style, not to mention the treatment of the other endless has me grinning from ear to ear.

Hm, yeah... saw a thingy for it in the DC preview mag, along with some much prettier Sandman pix. (Morpheus was actually attractive...) The Death I saw was... well, it suited her better. These pix seem to suite Del though, and Destiny looks kinda cool. I don't like Morpheus though. He's supposed to act like a stupid boy, not look like one.

Anyway, are they just manga-fying the already told Sandman tales? ::wants more sandman stories...::

It's apparently retelling part of Seasons of Mists, and telling the story of what Death, Delirium and Desire were up to when the dead were rising. (You might need to fix your gaiman feed (switch it to neil gaiman feed on my journal if you didn't get his little update about this...or maybe you just didn't read it:))

I have already made an icon to make fun of dear, mangafied Morpheus.
