Matrix Reloaded - Spoilers
I saw the Matrix Reloaded. That was fun.
What impressed me the most: The wonderful, straight out of anime scene, where Morpheus slices through the car with his samurai sword. Poetry in motion that. I loved how the camera followed them under and through the trucks during the chase scene as well. It's nice to see them pushing the limits like that.
Morpheus' speech in the 'temple' at the beginning should have been changed to "We will show them we're alive! Let's PARTY!" and left it at that. I would have been snickering less then.
Okay, the White Brothers were cool, but they sort of disappeared from the plot and were never picked up again.
Not as many nice lines in this one. Fight scene with the Smiths only barely managed to keep my interest the whole time. It was fun to play spot the Smith doubles though.
I love convienent rooms with hundreds of different weapons on the walls for major fight scenes. Such a staple of Hong Kong martial arts movies too. I was pleased when Neo chose to use the sai, since it's quite a neglected weapon.
Plot? It was interesting... I wasn't that impressed, but I'll reserve judgement until a second viewing. Stupid random kiss scene from the Mergovian (or whatever his name was)'s wife.
Such an amusing cliffhanger. It took all my control not to burst out laughing at it, especially seeing the disgruntled faces of the people in the theatre. Speaking of people, the people sitting next to me talked, got up and left, and most annoyingly had a nervous tick that caused them to bounce their knees for the whole bloody movie, thus vibrating the whole row and being very, very annoying. I'm afraid I missed a few things due to them, but I figure I'll see the movie at least one more time if possible so I can listen to the dialogue.
