Heroes 2, a little note

Wheee!! For some reason the second episode was a lot better than the first despite the annoying going back in time by a minute for everyone's back story method. Fantastic ending there with Hiro and so now we've got a timeline for the show, or at least for the first season. Hiro is supposed to be missing for five weeks now, but the question is where will he go or will be just change the past and go back to work? How the heck does that work anyway? I can't quite figure out what's going on with the stripper lady too. Are we supposed to think she already buried the corpses or are those different corpses or what? Cause four hours is just enough time to clean up a corpse/blood filled room and drive to the airport, but not to bury them too. Or am I just expecting a tad bit too much logic?

Also, how funny was it to see a guy named "Hiro Nakamura" standing in the middle of NYC? *geeky grin*

I'm also kinda disappointed to discover that the pilot I watched was a little different than the actual first episode and so therefore, the artist guy didn't lose a hand. I'm not sure if seeing him without a brain in this ep made up for it (the writers seem to have it in for this guy) since I'm sure it's not going to happen now. Random lady who helped Suresh sure was convient and that was the lamest attempt to place/retrieve? a bug ever. Flying brother guy was a little more sympathetic this ep, though the only thing that really moved me was his little kid's grin when he hugged his brother even if we so know it will go all angstastic on him. Also didn't expect the father to find out about cheerleader girl quite so soon (I'll have to learn everyone's names in this show at some point...)

Like the cop guy, though they were a little heavy handed with his back story. All I could think about he serial killer was that Iceman and Hannibal Lector had a team up. And that's about it. More next week, chicas.

In other news, my throat hurts and I'm afraid I've caught a cold, but at least I was very amused today to discover that I've read a lot of the mangas my middle school students have and we share the same favourite characters (one is a Hiei fan *L*).
