It wouldn't be my life if my bad traveling luck didn't rear it's head every once and awhile. Today, my tire went flat right as we arrived at Bujinkan. Seriously flat as in it was audibly leaking air and deflating. So I got out the jack and spare tire (an interesting proposition because apparently someone had spilled water/something on the spare tire, thus freezing it to the underside of the trunk...) and proceeded to give my little brother a lesson in changing tires. I have plenty of experience in this since within the first month of my getting my license, I had to change my car's tire(s) at least three times, and I've changed it a couple of times since. It took us about a half hour to change the tire, and by then we both were freezing and voted for going to Dunkin Donuts for hot drinks (vanilla chai and hot chocolate) instead of attending the last forty-five minutes of class. This is a pity since it was probably the last class of the year, but I agree we were in no shape for it especially since I still have sniffles from my cold that spending a half hour outside only aggravated (I would like to be healthy by christmas...).

I suppose I should be glad that at least my car wasn't destroyed this time (especially since it's my father's... Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the insurance company is seriously dragging its heals on paying me back for my totalled car and had the gall to offer me $600 dollars for a car that's worth over a thousand and that they couldn't replace for under $2000 if they tried. Wankers.)
