Happy Birthday,
fyrie!
Watched the Eurovision contest for the first time tonight. It was... interesting. I love the British presenter's sense of humour. What a strange mix of political and popular voting. Was quite amused to see Great Britain snubbed completly. Not the most popular kids on the block, ic... Belgium's song reminded me of a Baltic fire ritual I once watched/participated in and was the only decent song out of the one's I watched, but I suppose belly dancing makes up for everything;)
Should probably get back to studying...

Eurovision!
Re: Eurovision!
All were horrible by varying degrees. The costumes defied all decent fashion guides and there seemed to be a white fetish amongst them all. You would like it here. I was actually invited to a Eurovision party (which I only declined since I had to study). I'm surprised they don't broadcast it on some channel and into the US. Have you tried BBC America?

I'm not the least surprised with Great Britain's results. There was a time when they were always on the top positions, but they have been going downhill lately.
