I'm reading my way through Tad Williams Memory, Sorrow and Thorn series atm. It's not the best fantasty series in the world but it is good, and I did walk half way across town to pick up the third book today so that's gotta count for something.

I'm typing up the next chapter of Uric and saving it to a usb key. It's not finished of course, but it's getting there. Wondering how it got so long...

Reading POTC and Trigun (don't ask me how or why) fanfic atm. It's the first fanfic I've read in a long while. Want to read some good lotr fic, but my links are on backups at home so must make do.

Was so desparate to watch anime that I actually sat through three episodes of Yu Gi Oh this morning. *feels ashamed* I suspect I've been starved for British television as well, since I've been watching a lot more of it than I usually do.

Where did you find the Trigun fanfic? Did you slog through the stuff on ffn, or is your flist large and multifandom enough to have random Trigun recs on it? As a lover of Naruto, I feel vaguely envious of your enjoyment of Trigun fanfic, as I have no idea where to look for Naruto fic.

I find all my Trigun fics by randomly reading stories of it written by authors I like (who I've usually stumbled upon while reading a different fandom), then I check their favourites and read all their good Trigun (or insert series here) stories and so on and so forth until I hit a dead end. This usually keeps me busy for awhile, though it depends on the size of the fandom and how many good stories it has. I also rec all the good stories I read in my ficrecs journal. I don't get many recommends of fics unless I ask for them, but I'd suggest doing what I do to find some good Naruto fic. Slog through ff.net to find one, then check that persons favourites to find more etc. It works so long as people remember to update their favourites:) I'd recommend some naruto fic to you, but I haven't seen enough of the show to feel confident enough to read a story without getting massive spoilers.
