My archaeology practical was a lot like a writing workshop. We were asked to describe what we would see if we were walking through an Egyptian city c. 1350. Finished in record time...*L*

In other news, Chapter 5 of Goblin Uprising is up on ff.net. I'll let you know when it gets up on schnoogle. (I suppose it's impatient of me, but I really hate waiting for stories to get put up on fictionalley. The quick upload and easy editing is one of the few things I love about ff.net.)

I'm working on a new chapter of Sands of Time now and The Rise of Magic (that webpage of historical HP fics...). Linking everything's going to take awhile...And for some reason, Rowling really likes the 18th and 19th centuries, since the majority of the dates she gives are from there. If I thought she'd answer, I'd write her and ask why...

*enters hobbit mode*
I just got back from a wonderful homemade dinner courtesy of my flatmate's aunt. We had lemon fried fish, with lovely ripe tomatoes, tasty veggies and couscous. And desert was this gorgeous raspberry shortcake with homegrown raspberries! So very nice...This has been my first homecooked meal in months.
*end hobbit mode*

I had to turn down the dig on Hadrian's wall. The timing wouldn't work out, so hopefully they won't blacklist me for telling them I was coming, then leaving.

I might, just possibly, have a job doing some web design soon. *crosses fingers, even if it means more work*
