Thanks to everyone for the hugs et al:) [livejournal.com profile] tabellae the little screaming voice in my head is now singing Yatta! whilst I decide how to slowly torture it to death. It appreciated the throat lozenges though.

I just checked my uni email and was shocked and pleased to discover that they've pushed my Arch. essay due date forward about two months (do not ask me what they were thinking, but I'm not going to complain). This means I'm feeling slightly less stressed.

In other news, I was forced to watch this tonight, on dvd! (WARNING: I would not look at this on a public computer.) Was amused (and slightly scared until I realized it was a comedy skit). More info here.

The number of polls going around is scary...

"You know you could leave all this. It'll carry on all right without you. Come out with me and walk the stars. It's astonishing how much trouble one can get into if one works at it. And astonishing how much trouble one can get oneself out of if one simply assumes that everything will, somehow or other, work out for the best." - Neil Gaiman, Sandman, 72, DC Comics, 1996, page 13.

Can you tell I'm working on your lj icon when I shouldn't be, [livejournal.com profile] havenward?
