I have my first Arch. exam tomorrow. My flatmate just commented to me that I look calm about the whole thing, and that's true. Rationally, I know there is little reason to worry since I'll remember what I'll remember and I have no control over what questions they will ask me. My body doesn't agree with me of course, hence the major tension headache, which will only get worse as time goes on (thank god for painkillers) and the fact that it's doubtful I'll be able to sleep well tonight.

Oh, and you know the Boots of Doom? Not only are my feet sore from wearing them today, but they made me trip while crossing a car park, sending me slamming into the gravel. Will have a nice collection of bruises on my knees tommorrow.

It's cute, but slightly disturbing to see that someone has changed their name to Beaux Folle on ff.net after reading Uric...

Happy Birthday, [livejournal.com profile] nentari and [livejournal.com profile] mctabby!

Well, first exam's down. I don't think I did badly, even if I had to stretch what I knew to cover the enviormental arch. question's scope, but it did scare me that I finished about fifteen minutes before everyone else.

I really have to stop my habit of buying myself stuff after hard exams and essays, especially since I have four more exams to go... I stopped by Forbidden Planet in the futile hope that they'd have a Sesshoumaru plushie. Since they didn't, I bought Lone Wolf and Cub, Vol. 3 and Wolverine - Origins, which I've been meaning to buy anyway. That would have been it for my post-exam spending, but then I walked by Blackwells and was caught by the display of a book of Japanese prints. I am so addicted to those prints it isn't even funny. Our flat is slowly filling up with my collection (thankfully my flatmates don't mind...) and that's not even mentioning the postcards and now, a book that are building up. The book makes a nice coffee table book for our living room though, and the new print I bought (a gorgeous view of a guy crossing a bridge in the snow) looks great outside my room. So yeah, really must stop this post-exam spending. Will perhaps live on pasta for the next few days as penance.

I have an idea to do my journal up with a Japanese print theme, but that would require me finding the time to learn how to do so, and I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon.
