(no subject)

I really didn't feel like going to anime night tonight, but I went anyway since people had to return things to me before term ends (still missing Kenshin dvd 10 and my Angel Sanctuary CD to my annoyance). The only thing we watched that I hadn't seen before was Azumanga Diao, and I seemed to be blessed with cute episodes of all the series we did watch, making it a nice cheerful night, something I very much needed. Just talking with people about anime, fandom, fanfic etc was fun as well.

I periodically end up reminding the anime society that I have a blackbelt in taijutsu every couple of months and tonight seemed to be the night (L. likes to bring it up...). It was fun to brag a bit, and I realized that I'm able to use at least six different hand held weapons with some level of proficeny (the basics behind a lot of them are similar so I could probably extend that to more, but I'll keep it simple... and I'm not counting long range weapons like bows and guns).

I've been in a fragile and touchy mood all day. Lack of sleep, combined with RL, combined with studying have made things interesting. Have been reading Saiyuki fanfic, specifically about Sanzo during breaks, simply because his mood matches mine atm.

Studying wise. At this point, I think I would be fine if I only had Medieval and Renaissance history to deal with on thurs (which I found out I have to write 4, not 3 essays for...*sigh*) but I have my Islamic History exam the day after and the topics rarely coincide. Islamic's my outside course so I don't need to do as well on it as the others, but atm, I'm going to do horribly on it.
