Exam went surprisingly well. Had to do four essays, one on a set text which was relatively easy though I'm unsure if I answered the question fully. Historians like relevant details though so I should be good. My life long obsession with the Vikings served me well on the second essay, which is rather ironic since I skipped every single lecture we had on the Vikings because they would have been too boring. Third essay ended up being on the 4th crusade, though only partially. Very oddly phrased, so I'm unsure if I answered it properly but I did my best. The last, and best question was actually an exact copy of the question I answered for my witchcraft essay. So I just regurgitated the information. I actually could have answered many of the other questions they offered if I was pressed, which made me feel very prepared.

The Islamic department has a serious ego problem. They actually think that they're entitled to give us two 3 hours exams, answering four essay questions each time. They didn't even bloody teach us enough to answer eight questions. We only had to do four essays for Medieval and the same for arch. I hate the Islamic department. You know, I would have enjoyed islamic history a lot more, if we'd had decent lecturers who taught without obvious biases and didn't bring politics into the equation. As it is... Argh.
