#1 - If you had to be famous, what would you want to be famous for?

Writing hands down. What type of book is up for grabs, but definately writing.

#2 - If you could make any one fictional character President of the United States, who would you pick? (No fair saying anyone from a political show like West Wing. Has to be someone who wouldn't otherwise get the job.)

Ooo, Methos from Highlander. A 5000 year old immortal who's sarcastic, devious and doesn't believe in chivalry would be perfect:)

#3 - Which scene from Harry Potter would you most like to watch via Pensieve?

The shrieking shack confrontation scene. It's such an emotionally charged scene, but I feel I'd understand the characters a lot better if I could look at each one in that scene and read their body language and facial expressions.

#4 - Imagine you're going to the most important meeting of your life. Forced to dye your hair a neon color, which would you pick and why? (And what would be your excuse?)

Neon red, and I'd tell them it was better than the puke green the chlorine turned it the night before (when I couldn't get any other colour dye at the shop) and shrug it off.

#5 - If you could read any (very accurate, schnoogle-length) fanfic from (not about, *from*) any historical/cultural period - which would you pick?

Well, going with my current obsessions, probably the Tokugawa era of Japanese history (though the little historian within me is telling me that tales like that do exist in an admitedly badly translated and ribald form...*thwaps little historian*). I'd love to read some Aztec or Incan stories as well, especially about their daily lives. They had such odd cultural rituals. Ooo, and the megalithic builders. I've always wondered if putting up standing stones is a bit like putting a garden gnome on your front lawn - tacky, yet strangely appealing. The Picts would have to explain their symbol stones, and I'd really like to know what happened to the Vikings when they were trapped in Maeshowe (other than them leaving interesting graffiti). Stories from the Gaul's pov during Vercengetorix's little rebellion (damn Caesar and his prejudices/political buffering). I'm sure I could think of many more, but I'll stop now...

Worship my new archaeology icon! I was considering putting 'Bob' on it (because at least one skeleton on every site must be named Bob) or 'Bob and Lucy' (since there's obviously more than one set of bones there (and nicely articulated to boot)), but decided against it.

Have not done any studying... and you know why? It's because I've been reading these bloody killer memes. Good reading at least...

Currently, Goblin Uprising has three main plots - the Goblin plot, the Demon plot and the Relationships plot. Their purposes, as orignally concieved were goblin - major plot arc, to be resolved at the end of the story, must be sustained throughout entire story; relationships - realistic filler, meant to fill in the middle of the story, plus satisfy my nagging feeling that teenagers have hormones and if I want to be realistic I have to write about them, introduced a couple of chapters in and sustained throughout the rest of the story, though I expect the last couple of chapters to be a bit more action oriented (excluding the last chapter which is rap up); demon plot - originally meant to be a simple introductory plot arc, now extends throughout entire story though in very strange ways, (random fact - demon's original name was Gog).

Minor plot arcs - all minor plot arcs have to do with family, it being the theme of the story - theme is never an intentional choice on my part btw, it just ends up being what the story is focusing on (It's obvious looking back on Wild Hunt that the theme of the story is friendship, but I wasn't aware of that until near the end). I'll be showcasing a lot of different familes as the story progresses, and have already covered Uric's, Mena's and Louis' in some form, though there will be a bit more elaboration in places. There should be a glimpse at all the major characters families in one way or the other, plus one or two minor characters are going to get a bit more elaboration. There's at least one major character to still be introduced and I can't wait to get to him (only one more chapter until then hopefully). Have just realized he's a sullen, angsty bishonnen, and that I want some fanart of him, which is silly since he isn't written yet.

Things I would like to do: get Professor Darshan into things again. A lot of people wanted to see more of him, but he became a bit extraneous to the plot of wild hunt. I enjoy writing him, simply because he's a parody of a few of my more... enthusiastic teachers and his Indian background makes him cool. Hmm, actually I know where I could work him in, but it feels really mean to do so... The poor guy. I'd also like to have a bit more Thacher since his puns amuse me, not sure how it will work out though. Uric's old enough to save himself these days (at least with his friend's help he is...).

It's funny how the plot mutates as you go...

Have been reading anime reviews at Sleep Is for the Weak. Funny and interesting reviews for the most part, though one of the reviewers lost all my respect by saying that Now and There, Here and Then was anything but boring. I'd say the Hellsing review was the funniest (with the hilarious anime law of glasses...), though the saiyuki one struck me as the one I most identified with, with the exception of the reivewer not liking witty comments while killing people. It can be inappropriate in places, but in an anime like Saiyuki, it's all just part of the odd fun, or maybe I'm just twisted by too long spent reading fiction? Both probably.
