Anybody up for doing a really quick beta of a two page long Pirates of the Caribbean humour fic? I wrote it just now and should probably blame Neil Gaiman for making me look at links to information on cat mutations...

lucyjin isn't there I don't even need to show up to return Fake and trade volumes of Saiyuki. I will miss an episode or two that I want to see, but I haven't been getting enough work done as it is and leaving the night open for me to work will help me a lot more than watching anime.
Finished off my post excavation work for the year which made me happy and sad at the same time since I actually find it quite soothing and easy to do, and would love to do it for another four weeks to complete my degree, but I can't since I need to be doing four week of digging to qualify. Maybe I'll just put a test pit in my back yard...

'Tis windy in the city tonight, with the grass outside the kitchen window finally having assumed its usual winter position of being parallel to the ground. Despite the wind, the kiddies round here are still setting off fireworks like there's no tomorrow. I'll be quite interested to see if they start up a huge bonfire right outside our flat like they did last year come Guy Fawkes Day.

On the minus side, it's rather boring. Keep drifting off into POTC universe in my head... though have just noticed that archaeologist in article on Port Royale has a nice arse... Right, keep drifting off into POTC universe and the gutter in my head...
