Iron age in S. Britain lecture was probably the most boring of term so far with a comprehensive and rambling look at every single pottery and metal type between here and the continent. It was kinda amusing to watch everyone fall asleep/give up taking notes/fidget endlessly. Professor seemed bored too since he went off on two main tangents, one about his cooking and other on an old professor.

Have another party invitation. So this is what socializing is like...

Was reading Ancient Scottish Lake Dwellings in the arch. library but got bored despite the amusing prose ("Madame Nature" indeed... *L*) so switched to reading all the arch. mags there and discovered that at least one of the Archaeology mags lists fieldwork in Britain. I photocopied those that looked good for easter but now come to discover that they're all in april after my easter holiday ends. No good.
