This is yesterday's entry because I can't be bothered to back post it.

Went to the dentist. Was told as usual that my teeth were perfectly fine. Was told by the receptionist that I had dodged a bullet since I hadn't gone every six months, and that I couldn't ever afford to do that again. That woman should be given a prize for her ability to guilt people. Pity it didn't work and that I got the impression she thought I was fifteen and was simply trying to make sure the dentist got more money by more appointments. Can't go to the dentist every six months if I'm not in the country.

Then I went to my dad's where I picked up my car (my car that my father loves so much, I might add, that he's been driving it, and only it for the past couple of months. silly, daddy). Begged my copy of Two Towers extended edition off of him early so I could watch it before ROTK, then came home before hitting the doctor (not literally, seeing as she's a pretty nice doctor...). Am now rereading Good Omens because I feel like it and I'm on holiday. Will be off to Bujinkan soon.

The connection here at my mum's is being very variable, and basically I'm only barely able to get onto any pages that require a log in. This includes my email, livejournal and er, more email... So if you guys don't see me online much over the next few days that is what's happening (that and i've been kidnapped by people who want my time).

Am going to see ROTK with Cedar tonight. Am sore and bruised from Bujiknan.

Good Omens, flu thingies, and marmolots

Spent most of the morning trying to get a flu shot. Managed to get it in the afternoon. In the meantime, read more Good Omens (I find it weird that I have about the same opinion of it rereading it as I did reading it the first time... namely, I can't understand why people are so impressed by it compared to any of the novels by either of the authors individually. Sure, Crowley is cool, as is Aziphale to a lesser degree, the four are fun, and there's still some great jokes, but the scenes with the kids are annoying and boring, as are the ones with the witchfinders), wrote more Gentlemen of Fortune (almost done!, just need to finish off cliffhanger scene... yes, I'm an evil writer...) and tried to get on the internet. Considering I'm using my bro's comp atm, it hasn't been working.

Afternoon after flu shot was spent visiting the bank, and then the mall. Got two more presents which leaves only three people to go. Mall is a strange place these days. I felt silly wandering through it.

Must go renew LOTR obsession before ROTK. Mwahaha. Will review the movie as usual later. Ja ne.
