I had been wondering where all my usual email was going, turns out it was all being sent to my junk email folder in hotmail. There were seven reviews in there for instance and that was only for the last seven days. I suspect I'm going to have to go through my stories and see who else has reviewed. This may take awhile...

Didn't have bujinkan last night due to a possible electrical fire which forced us to evacuate the building. Was slightly disappointed, but ended up spending hours decorating the christmas tree (we have gone for a blue/gold/silver/white theme this year). I am quite anal about getting the tree looking perfect at this point. For years with the lack of a male parental unit at my mum's house, I have been in charge of doing the tree, and to tell you the truth I'm rather sick of it, but, if they are going to make me do it, it is going to be done well. This is why I draw the line at tying cutesy blue bows to the tree and ugly fat angels in blue dresses... And for some reason, despite the fact that every year I do decorate the tree, Mum never believes it's going to look good until I'm done with it. Go figure.

Afterwards, called [livejournal.com profile] havenward where we basically compared notes about ROTK for hours and swore to go see it again together, preferably in an empty theatre where we can shout at the screen without fear of being thrown out...*g*

*blinks* Who would have thought? Someone actually wrote Jack/Jack the Monkey. Oh my (Yes, I thought I'd share the horror *eg*, though really I only skimmed it since it's mostly just a sex scene.) *flees*

Went to see The Last Samurai tonight. I enjoyed it, somewhat to my surprise. I keep wondering if some of the points they make in the movie made more sense if you knew a bit of history and culture to go with it. Oh well. Would really like to discuss the movie with a Kenshin fan *g* Anyway, good acting, a decent enough story, awesome costumes and good fight scenes. Not bad at all.

Other than that, have spent the day catching up on my reading in all forms (ie fanfiction, books, and manga), plus helping my bro download and watch redvsblue which I have introduced him to. I recommend it to anyone else too:)

My schedule for the rest of the week is busy as usual. I see [livejournal.com profile] rinzei and [livejournal.com profile] sylk tommorow. I believe we plan on going into the city to get cheap manga. Am dreading the cold already. Saturday, I'll be seeing [livejournal.com profile] ozmaz, and sunday bro and mum and I are going on a big shopping trip to Mitsuwa.

I'm wondering when I'll get to see ROTK again, but I should note that we got to the theatre early tonight so I snuck in to the movie again and watched for about a half hour near the end *g*

My father bought a new deluxe comp while I was gone. It has an aquarium in the side of it. With plastic fish and bubbles that allow you to see inside the computer. It's quite distracting but cool in a kisch sort of way.
