meetings, fun, HP

Despite having to run half way across Edinburgh due to a mix up in theatres, I managed to meet up with fyrie, siriaeve, randomchris, collie, wolfmoonie, ailah and mjaum to see POA again. There was much mocking, and squeeing and giggling, though no one threw us out of the theatre, which is always a good sign:D

We then went to dinner, and talked and scared each other (many heads have been broken tonight *eg*), then to an internet cafe, then out to a pub. Conversations included "lion on a cheesegrater" (really, really don't ask), much talking in many languages and accents, the insistence that I'm a smurf, a hobbit, an elf, a dwarf or some mutant combination of them all, the decision that Lupin is now Hogwarts new slut, crannogs and the origin of hogwarts, fangirly discussions of Discworld and Monkey Island plus much more.

ps. You know you have good friends when they start discussing when and how is the best way to eat you...

genficathon, exercise, Falco

For a series I still have slight problems with, I'm reading through the Falco series by Lindsey Davis awfully fast. Must take time out soon and actually work on dissertation beyond reading a few articles on cannibalism.

Exercised today. Judging by the way even my fingers are aching atm, I probably went too far.

I should mention that there's still a lot of undone challenges for saeva's Genficathon here and if you had a fic in there, or haven't recieved your challenge, or simply want to pick up an orphaned challenge, it's the place to go:)
