It's interesting how they closed the main library early due to problems with the air conditioning, when, as anyone who has ever walked into that building knows, it appears that they don't have any air conditioning. It's the kind of thing where you have to wear a t-shirt under your coat and strip down to it as soon as you leave the main floor area, or else find yourself soaked in sweat. This is the case year round regardless of the weather outside, so I'm wondering if this so-called 'air conditioning' system is actually all that keeps the temperature below 40 C since it certainly isn't serving any other purpose.

I have my essay due Friday, which I will be diligently working on for the next few days. On plus side, have done 3000+ words in NaNo, but am already deeply disatisfied with the whole thing since if I took more time the writing could be a lot better. Must take deep breaths and remind myself that this is only a first draft and it can still get much better. Any volunteers to read it when I'm done and tell me how horrible it is?
