It feels like it's been a long day, and I guess going to the zoo and a movie later does qualify. I'm afraid I fell asleep on
lucyjin at one point as we were killing time (I introduced her to Gankutsuou *eg*).
The zoo was fun, even if it was cold and rainy. It was
lucyjin,
dizziebeth and I who went, which may or may not explain why we now all have chibi tiger plushies. Mine is named Beowulf:) I think the most impressive animal was the snow leopard, but I think we were biased by how it came down to pose right in front of us before stalking away. I got a beautiful picture. The penguins were cool at least, and I liked how they actually let us into their enclosure. Saw some very cute tortoises and snakes too. All in all, a very fun way to spend the day.
Later, we all ended up seeing Zatoichi, which was funny and cool. I liked the way they interwove music and the humour into an good plot. Even the flashbacks were well done. I'm going to have to get that on dvd someday.
Oh, and you know how I was wanting to see some period movies? Last night I combined studying with watching Moulin Rouge and Quills, which almost fufills my quota... for now;)
