I'm reading Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell and damn is it good. I love the language, and the writing and the characters, even if I'm not quite sure where the plot is going atm (I'm only about 50 pages in due to interuptions.) It's such a cool book, though admittedly, it's so much easier to picture and be delighted by the statues of the York minister talking if you've actually been there.

I dream of Prince of Tennis last night, only it was like my mind took it and made it interesting and cool. They were still playing tennis, but now the team travelled from planet to planet in the future doing so, while solving supernatural crimes to boot. The scene I remember really well is they saved this couple (the woman was a ghost who had been murdered, and her husband was alive but very fey), and got them out of an area where they were playing by challenging the people following the couple to a tennis match. Then once they got them free, the woman had no where to go, so they made up a new contract for the team that dealt with supernatural beings (One comment on the form said, "In the event that your head can become detached from your body without harm...") and signed her on. I wish the actual show had been as fun as my dream.

In other news, once again, decorating the christmas tree has fallen to me. It's really odd. They know I don't like doing it. I complain rather vocally all through the time I do it, and yet it's still left to me. They've taken to putting up the tree for me so that I'm not yelling full out curses in time for christmas, but still... The reasoning I was given is that I'd complain if they put it up themselves, which isn't true. I'd be very happy to come home and find the tree up and decorated, nevermind how pretty it is. What happens though is they try to decorate it while I'm in their presence and *then* I start wincing at their decorating taste. Do you know how many years it took me to convince my mum how horrible the pink themed tree was?

On plus side, my hannukkah present arrived today - the King Arthur dvd. So I have something to watch and mock while I wrap presents for me mum.
