I'm rather tired atm, despite having 12 hours of sleep. I think it has something to do with my body thinking I went to sleep at 5pm and woke up at 6am. It's rather annoying either way. Oh, and my period's started, which explains why I actually ate and enjoyed a piece of dark chocolate yesterday. It also explains why I was randomly depressed about leaving home, since I'm never depressed about leaving home.
Had my first day of Etruscan Italy today. It looks interesting and relatively easy with one essay and one ungraded seminar. The lecturer has a tendency to babble and give extraneous information in a very apologetic tone. He also has a very proper English accent that is only there half the time. I have yet to identify what the other half is.
Afterwards, I made the mistake of visiting the bookshop looking for books on the topic, and found everything but. I now have Bahn's new book, Archaeology: The Key Concepts which should come in handy for Phil. and Meth, Bahn's Disgraceful Archaeology because it amuses me, and Bisexuality in the Ancient World which was cheap and will feed my facination with gender and queer archaeology. A trip to the library also had me grabbing more books to read. I'm not sure why I think I have free time, but I'm letting my mind have it's own little illusions if it will.
I forgot to mention I tried to watch the Earthsea miniseries the other day. Key word being tried. It doesn't help that I've read the books recently, but wow, why did they bother calling it Earthsea? The third Earthsea book is looking to be better than the first even if it's kinda fantasy cliche so far.
