(no subject)

I am now in NJ. Jetlag made me incoherent last night so not much happened other than I was taken out for food and had a ruben for the first time in awhile. Have much unpacking and distribution to do *has no idea where all her books are going*. Flight was actually quite nice, and it was the least hassle free trip I've had in awhile barring I forgot the extra bag they made me pack the books in when they found out I was ten kg over. Luckily, they just went and picked it up for me while we waited for a bit. Finished off the Highlander fic on the plane, and the Champloo mini-fic. Read One Virgin Too Many by Lindsey Davis. Not her best book, but only cause the mystery was kinda obvious and the ending wasn't as good as it could have been. Started The Amulet of Samarkand. Not bad so far.

My mum fed me raspberry cheesecake left over from my bro's b-day for breakfast. It's good to be a college student home for the holidays *g*

Would anybody be willing to beta the Highlander fic? It's only seven pages and you don't really need a knowledge of canon to tell me if my grammar sucks. Anyone? *puppy eyes*;)

I forgot to add about my flight that I sat next to this girl, who I actually had a lovely chat about books with (mostly me reccing things to her since she was 14 and hadn't started her true journey into bookdom). But she asked me at first if I was traveling alone, and I sort of stopped, puzzled since obviously I was traveling alone, but there seemed to be an undercurrent of assumption there, so I asked her how old she thought I was, and she of course said 15, or 16.
Even fourteen year olds can't tell my age...

Am going to Bujinkan tonight. It will be nice to get back to training, though hopefully jetlag won't make me fall asleep (go adrenaline, go!). Until then, I am going to relax and read and forget the rest of the world exists. Also, I have rainbow ribbon cookies! They make the world go round. Yep.
