Am back in Scotland. Have had no sleep, but had a surprisingly nice conversation with the taxi driver on the way in. I am sort of unpacking, sort of, because, as was to be expected, they lost one of my bags. I'm kinda concerned about this one since their system says it was on the plane, but I couldn't find any sign of it. I'm hoping for computer error, and not someone walking off with it. There's nothing valuable in it, but that is half my clothing, plus other things. I should probably be celebrating thought that I had three flights before this one where no one lost my luggage.

Feeling rather dead, and kinda annoyed that someone's been using my butter while I'm gone, and stuffing moldy sausages into my section of the fridge. Am wondering if since there's also baclava stuffed there, I can consider it mine. It would serve someone right...

On the plane, I was somehow stuck next to two very talkative guys. First, was this very friendly Texan who was the second person I've ever seen with an actual mustache that looks like an upside down 'U'. We wittered away until he changed his seat so he could stretch out his legs (my seat was right in the back), then this teenager (17) moved in. He obviously thought I was about his age for awhile, then I mentioned I was in college, so he assumed I was a freshman... He apparently, doens't read, and didn't like the television offerings, so he attempted to get me chatting with him for most of the flight despite the fact that your average 17 year old boy really isn't that interesting a conversationalist. Our tv selection was rather poor. I ended up watching Spanglish which, while it had very good characterizations, was kinda humdrum and rather disappointing for what had been described as a romantic movie. Saw an ep of My Family as well, but was once again thwarted from seeing Little Britain by them switching the ingoing and outgoing flight comedy tracks. Plane reading was Outlander by Diana Gabaldon, which I will report on later since I'm about finished with it.
