So I basically spent the whole day marathoning One Piece. Each story arc is something like 15-25 episodes long so that's not really surprising. One of the episodes in the Nami arc made me cry. One Piece isn't supposed to make you cry *L* The show wins so many points for having so many strong female characters. I can't remember when I've seen so many, one after the other and they're interesting strong female characters who are believable, not the strong female characters that most men seem to write when they're thinking of strong female characters, but are really only writing someone hot they'd like to sleep with or something. Sanji and Zoro are so cool too. *grins happily* I love fighting anime, and it helps that One Piece is ever so subtly on crack. Not to mention, pirates! Arrr! (My only trouble is I keep having to remind myself that there are no laws of physics in their world, or laws of cause an effect, hence five people really can sail a huge boat that doesn't even have the most basic rigging. But hell, the main character is made of rubber, so yeah...)
I just finished episode 49, and it (or the ep before it had the best lines ever). Zoro accidently ends up washing the floors at the Marine's headquarters. These two marines spot him and shout, "It's Zoro the Pirate Hunter! He's cleaning our floors, that fiend!" Cue me having to pause it because I'm laughing too much to read:D
I did actually take a break to chat with people (for once) and write the first draft of my CV - which sucks badly, but that's what first drafts are for. My mum tells me I'm mixing up what's supposed to be in the cover letter with the CV. Suspect she's right. *sigh* Oh well, will fix tomorrow... and watch more One Piece. Oh yes.
