Bujinkan today was kinda hardcore. Not because we were doing anything strenous or interesting (since sensei wasn't there, we revert to doing basics) but because it was about 90 degrees (F) with near 100% humidity. We were all dripping with sweat within five minutes, which made for interesting attempts at wrist locks and such since it's hard to hold onto someone who's all sweaty...
I feel sorry for my bro who was spoiled for HBP in World of Warcraft of all places. People apparently went online just to spoil it. Wankers.
I keep thinking I should post my own opinions on the book, but I really don't have many of them. I thought it was a better book than the previous one, and that it had much better pacing. It was still as predictable as the last one, maybe even more so. My hopes for something as clever as POA were once again dashed. I still have the same problems with Harry's characterization that I've always had. And, er, I like Snape. That about sums it up.
Am feeling cranky about having to pack for the trip out west tomorrow. Want to see my brothers and nieces and nephews and this is my last chance for awhile, but I seriously have tons of other things I need to be doing, including looking for a job. So this whole trip is one big inconvience. I need more sleep too. Gah. This whole bloody week seriously fucked up my sleeping schedule and now I'm just cranky and upset and sleep deprived despite having finally gotten some sleep. My dad wanted to do a full drive out west without stopping and I put my foot down. I might snap my relative's heads off if I got there with serious sleep deprivation (I'm unable to sleep in a car, or anywhere really other than a bed, and even then I need for there to be no people talking, it to be reasonably dim, and for the pillow to be comfortable.) I will hopefully calm down once we're on the road tomorrow. *sigh*
