In my dream this morning, Hiruma from Eyeshield21 (see icon) decided to turn his considerable talents to puppeteering because this one guy annoyed him, so he dragged us all along to this show for the emperor and had us make this huge puppet with long arms and a long face. We won out over the taunting guy and the champion team, which was a good thing since the person who was deamed to be least entertaining by the crowd had their arms and legs cut off while the crowd watched (guess they wanted to provide entertainment until the end...).

Second dream I was a ninja in a world that looked similar to the one in Naussicaa. Kakashi was on my team *bg* only we were having a lot of trouble completing our assignment since whatever we were searching for, didn't appear to exist.

This meant I picked up six manga for about $6.50, which, while it isn't book off prices, is still pretty damn good.

Watched the third season of Black Books last night. Enjoyed it, but think the laugh ratio's gone down a bit. Now to get my bro and dad off their respective comp's long enough to watch Allo Allo (seasons 3&4). I must have needed sleep today since I slept in until noon. Will be trying to go to Mitsuwa later. I suppose I should do something productive too, but I'll wait until the guilt hits me.

Mitsuwa, food, comics, manga

Went to Mitsuwa today for their festival. Met up with rinzei and friends. Have never seen so many people in yukatas in one place. Lots of traditional drumming and dancing and kids catching goldfish and masks etc. Had sushi and taiyaki for dinner, then we went food shopping (I regret I was not able to visit the toy and book store, but will do so later this week). New weird pocky flavours - chocobanana, and maple and butter. I bought the maple and butter and it's pretty good, if a little overboard on the butter. it weirdly enough, comes with a small packet of cinnamon which makes the sticks taste even better.

I read Constantine Tainted Love, and Damnation's Flame yesterday. I really enjoyed them, even when the graphics make me go 'eww'. It always reminds me of reading Lucifer. I can't wait to finish up the earlier novels and move onto the more recent ones though. The art just sucks in the early novels. Also finished up Furuba 11 which catches me up with the ones released in English. I tried to read Girl Got Game/Power but even though it has one of my favourite cross dressing themes, I couldn't get into it. And now, I'll go read Slam Dunk instead.
