It was fun to come home from Bujinkan tonight and find five One Piece plushies (Luffy, Nami, Chopper, Zoro and Sanji, each about 6" and with their own little bag with their personalized pirate flag on it) and Shigure (even if I'm not sure if his plushy delights me, or is planning to kill me in my sleep...). Chopper is so kawaii, though the expression on the Zoro one is priceless. Mwahaha!

Bujinkan was still basics. Hongyaku tonight (which my japanese dictonary tells me means "reverse arm" or something close to that... since uragyaku, the next (and paired) basic means "reverse back"). It's technically a wrist lock, but it's more like a wrist throw in taijutsu. We switched partners often, which was fun since I got to train with lots of different guys and avoided training with anyone I didn't want to. I'm pretty good at both gyaku so there was no real trouble except my favourite training shirt is seriously falling apart. It's one of those tourist shirts from greece that says Ellas in Greek on the front with a scene of Hercules from some pottery on it. I've been wearing it to train for about five years now, and it's kinda stretched to high heaven. One guy did a simple move and managed to pull it all the way off one of my shouders. There's a seminar on Saturday. Five hours of something other than basics. Yay!

In other news, my comp is still failing me. Comp runs great when it's first turns on, but overheats and slows down ridiculously as soon as it's been on for a few hours. Have narrowed it down to "I think the fan is broken" since every bloody thing is up to date. I've defraged, decleaned, uninstalled and scanned everything to bits. Even spent a couple of hours chatting with a Dell rep who had no idea what to do and kept suggesting things I'd already done. Dell is my last resort after all. I only go to them after I've made sure nothing else can solve my problem, but since I'm pretty sure it's hardware at this point... *sigh* Have to try them again. Luckily, still have a few chapters to go in Memoirs of Geisha to keep me entertained while chatting with my Indian friends...
