fan, icons, birthday

Yay! My fan was fixed. I had to make a pissed off call to their service again today and try to figure out their incomprehensible spanish accents (even the tech barely spoke english), but they realised how annoyed I was and sent a tech by noon. He took my laptop apart (which was fascinating to watch), and replaced the fan. Said fan had a HUGE ball of lint/dust in it which I suspect was causing the problem, but was not going to say no to a new fan. All is now working (next time, will take laptop apart myself and clean fan...). It's such a relief to feel the fan running again. (Mostly cause I can now watch anime in peace *L*)

I tried very hard to fill up the new icon spaces with the icons on my comp, but only managed 70/100. (One must be selective after all.) It's brillant to finally have an icon for every fandom I've ever wanted icons for though.

I want to watch more One Piece. Episode 152 gave me such a happy high *sigh* But there's a ton of new job openings for archaeologists as of this morning, so have to get busy with applications. Will watch more tonight though, as a birthday present to myself or something.

Went out for a nice sushi dinner last night as an early birthday celebration (since I'm going to Bujinkan tonight). Had mackerel sushi, which wasn't bad, though it freaked out my mum and bro that it still had its skin on. Lots of other sushi as well, especially my favourite - eel - and tempura cheesecake (which is suspect is nearly as sinful as a deep fried mars bar).
