I really dislike driving my father's old car. Not only is it huge, and not as fun to drive, but it doesn't have a radio, and speaking as someone who's driven with the radio on all her life, it drives me insane to drive in silence. I found myself singing I Wanna Be Sedated to myself on the way to Bujinkan tonight, despite the fact that I only know one verse of the song and had to repeat it over and over. My other trouble is that the car (it's a Buick Regal) was not designed for short people, so I actually had to have my dad scour the state for a wedge to sit on so I wouldn't go insane from having to sit up perfectly straight to drive all the time. The tires on the car also suck and cause the car to hydroplane in the slightest amount of rain. The only thing I really like about the car is that it has about fifteen different windshield wiper speeds. *sigh* I miss my car.

Bujinkan tonight was surprisingly tiring judging by how worn out I feel atm. It was a good class though, with Jack in the mood to demonstrate things - on us. There was one point where my face was numb for about ten minutes because of how many different pressure points there we were hitting. There's some really nastly looking red marks on my neck from being boshikened there by Jack too. Apparently, M. saved me from a nasty throw since Jack got annoyed with me for being too flexible and frustrating my partner (had my partner listened to me when I told him to trap my foot, he could have thrown me easily, but since he wasn't, of course he was frustrated...) and went after me with a proper throw that had no way of getting out of it other than landing flat on your back. M. managed to talk him into doing it softly at least... *sweatdrop*

Afterwards, M. and I stopped off for ice cream. There was pumpkin! (Yummy!) We gossiped and complained (considering we're the only women who ever train - it's our duty *L*). I find it amusing at this point that we're both infinitely familar with the annoyance of having to meet a guy's eye to get them to train with you at the beginning of the class - while all of them are trying to avoid looking at you because they don't want to train with a woman (for one reason or another). Testosterone *snort*

I have another three pages of a new Kakashi fic written. I feel ashamed, but I really, really wanted to write something pre-Gaiden and my subconcious knew it. When I woke up at 7am this morning plotting out the whole damn thing in my head, and couldn't get back to sleep until I got up and typed out the first couple of paragraphs, I figured it was futile to resist.
