Bujinkan tonight was good. I trained with that fun marine guy who calls me 'kid'. We started off with basic rolling over obstacles which is fun imo, though it's kinda harder when you're short like I am (means I sort of have to jump before rolling over high things while taller people simply crouch). I did like when we had a sort of obstacle course practicing ninja jumping (it's like regular jumping, only cooler, yo!... j/k, it's actually not much like regular jumping at all *g*), and rolling and at one point we were attacked with a soft bat that you had to avoid, though not by too much. If you avoided by too much (ie wasted movement) you got swated by J. This didn't cause me any trouble but it was fun to watch others get hit *eg*

Afterwards was punch evasion with a mixing in of jumonji, which is a stance that involves having your arms crossed in an X. Fun and relaxing, and only got yelled at once for being too forceful. Sensei really likes making points to my training partners about not using force. "Even a little girl can defeat you" - meaning me *makes a face at the designation* Which means of course, that I can't use force cause then it defeats the purpose. Not that it doesn't work. It is perfectly possible to take someone down without them feeling more than some light touches, but it's hard to control yourself and keep everything 'light' so to speak.

The final half hour was barehand vs. sword which is always interesting in that if it ever happens in real life you're probably going to die. But, if you avoid that first cut, it's usually pretty easy to disarm your opponent as long as you moved properly in the first place. I was really pleased when we all lined up and were attacked with a padded sword (straight down at the head) which you had to avoid in real time. I was one of the four people out of sixteen to actually avoid it, which makes me feel a bit more confident about if it happened in real life. Not to mention it was kinda funny to watch everyone else get hit... *whistles innocently*

Injury wise, I'm lacking any new bruises, though the rolling did open up one of the scabs on my elbow again (am glad I skipped monday to let them heal). My big toe has been smashed as well and I found out it was bleeding a bit when I got home, but it seems okay now.

I did get a good idea for a fighting style to use in the later stage of the chuunin exam in Silver and Gold, sort of based on jumonji. I'll have to start making up bloodlines and family jutsus too, which isn't my favourite thing to do believe it or not - I prefer straight fighting, but whatever. Will perhaps add in someone who summons pigeons or chinchillas;) Have just about finished chapter 4 btw. Did not make it to the cliffhanger point I'm afraid seeing as that would take at least another page and I'm loathe to spoil people with chapters that go over seven pages (long experience has taught me that when you write longer chapters, people expect longer chapters, even if it was a one time thing... and then they complain when it takes you longer to write longer chapters. Imagine that:P).

And in other random news, my face over the past few weeks has reverted back to high school pimple wise. I'm breaking out like a 15 year old, and it subtracts even more years from my face. As I told Ozma this weekend, I may as well have gone trick or treating last week since no one would ever believe I'm 22.
