Bujinkan, Pride and Prejudice

My arms are rather sore and bruised atm. I'm waiting patiently for the painkillers to kick in. Bujinkan was a continuation from Monday of finger/wrist catapult, or as he called it this class, bouncing finger *L* It was the same move over and over with variations so the point where we were aiming for is sore, as is the whole bicep since the guy I was training with didn't have the best aim. I was kinda amused that the pain bothered characters in my dreams (all Yu Yu Hakushou characters, mostly Kurama) and made them make different decisions based on how painful it was when I rolled over. I trained with a guy who was trained in kung fu (you can always tell by their instinctive stance) which was kinda entertaining to watch because he had some funny habits. (nothing too amusing, just amusing enough to another martial artist).

I saw Pride and Predjudice yesterday. Mostly because my mum wanted to see it. I'm one of those people who could take or leave the book (some of you are crying "sacriledge" atm, I bet) so I didn't really care how it was. All the giggling annoyed the hell out of me, and the Bennets as farmers didn't make much sense. Was amused by the attempts to find every picturesque place in Britain, and to make it more romantic. Good acting for the most part. And that's that.

Yu Yu Hakushou fanfic writers have some of the funniest hang ups. I like how they all have this strong urge to give Hiei cute pets, mostly kittens. It's like a cute meme.
