My subconcious does a lot of my writing for me. I've known this for years. Whenever, I get stuck plot-wise I feed all the details into my brain and then I ignore them, sometimes for an awful long time. My subconcious then bakes the ideas at a temperature of 350 degrees for however long it takes and then one day my mind wanders back onto that plot or story and suddenly I have solved my plot problem or suddenly, you know, my story actually has a plot to have a problem with *L*
In this case, it's been awhile since I thought of the plot of my evil overlord book. I had a vague idea what it was, and it wasn't writer's block since I could still have written for several more pages without the plot (I just didn't), but tonight my mind did what it was supposed to and wandered back to the idea. And suddenly, there it was, the whole plot of my book right up to the climatic ending (which I won't worry about and will depend on how far along the characters are in their character arc by the time I reach that point). And now I've sat down and actually written a page of the novel and it's good. So, my subconcious, I salute you! You're obviously working a lot harder than I am;) Ja ne!
