My subconcious does a lot of my writing for me. I've known this for years. Whenever, I get stuck plot-wise I feed all the details into my brain and then I ignore them, sometimes for an awful long time. My subconcious then bakes the ideas at a temperature of 350 degrees for however long it takes and then one day my mind wanders back onto that plot or story and suddenly I have solved my plot problem or suddenly, you know, my story actually has a plot to have a problem with *L*

In this case, it's been awhile since I thought of the plot of my evil overlord book. I had a vague idea what it was, and it wasn't writer's block since I could still have written for several more pages without the plot (I just didn't), but tonight my mind did what it was supposed to and wandered back to the idea. And suddenly, there it was, the whole plot of my book right up to the climatic ending (which I won't worry about and will depend on how far along the characters are in their character arc by the time I reach that point). And now I've sat down and actually written a page of the novel and it's good. So, my subconcious, I salute you! You're obviously working a lot harder than I am;) Ja ne!

I had this cool Avatar dream where Aang and co. were fleeing Ba Sing Se with Iroh and Zuko in tow, and they decided they had to leave, but for some reason, Iroh needed to stay, (they're all flying on Appa in the scene) so he told Zuko to go with them and that he might need these, and passed over his twin swords and his mask, which shocked the rest of the gang except for Aang of course. It was a neat scene, even if I paused the dream right after that to debate whether Iroh would ever leave Zuko alone like that, and then I drifted deeper into sleep so I have no idea what happened.

Slept horribly last night due to wind. It makes the metal storm shutters outside my apartment bang something fierce which kept waking me up. Meh.

In other news, graduate applications suck and there'd be a lot of cool programs I could take if I just spoke Japanese better. *sigh* (The Uni. of Hawaii has my dream program for instance, but I'd have to have taken 4th level japanese (ie advanced) by the time I graduate and I can't really afford to spend the 2-3 years that would take me attending uni in one of the most expensive states in the US in order to reach that level.)

Oh, I updated my Avatar fic, Strong as Steel with a little omake scene.
