Adaptation - you may not get it. If you do, it will be the funniest thing you've ever seen. If you don't, it will be the stupidest. If you see it and have questions, I will be happy to oblige. In fact, the book they skewer ("Story") is one we're using in my class. ;)
The Hours - lots and lots of women kissing. Can't really give an objective review. The scene with Clarissa (Meryl Streep) and Jeff Daniels' character made me cry, and the bit with V.W. drowning at the start made me shake. Literally. I love Virginia Woolfe, and that was an intense way to start that movie.
