There was a gary stu in my dreams last night, and it was really annoying especially since my brain cast me in the role of love interest. Gary stu was played by Jack from Lost, though he wasn't Jack, it's just that that was the nearest gary stu my brain could recall, I suspect. We kept going around having to save the world in various ways and we kept meeting people from various movies whose lives had been changed by meeting gary stu. The only one I remember well was meeting the kid from Space Camp who said that gary stu had talked him down from space or something like that. And then Gary stu (if I recall, his name really was Gary) was injured and I realized this was the opportunity for the love interest to help now that the stu was out of comission, but I kept being interupted by people telling me how great stu was. I suspect this whole dream was a reaction to finishing Tom Holt's Faust Among Equals and being annoyed at how much of a stu Faust is.

As seems to be usual for my fridays, I have a lot of things to do today before I can relax, and by relax, I mean get back to researching human bones, so yeah. Ja ne!
