Crack Pairing Meme
Make a list of all the characters in your icons. (Although you may have more than one icon of a single character, they only go on the list once.) Alphabetize it. Take the first two people on the list; that's your first pairing. Second two people; second pairing. Etc.

May as well do a crack meme while on drugs... I left out minor characters who I couldn't remember the names of.
Apollo (BSG)/Barbossa (POTC) - Apollo would at least enjoy their philosophical debates, while Barbossa would enjoy feeding him apples.
Buggy (One Piece)/Lieutenant Bush (Hornblower) - A pirate and a naval officer? It'll never work *L*
The Count (Gankutsuou)/The Daleks - It's really just a question of who would be on top...
Daniel (SG-1)/deralte - *blinks in surprise* I do believe I win.
The Doctor (Dr. Who)/Edward Elric - Well, they both have a tendency to travel in time and space, not to mention screw things up really badly.
Emperor Palpatine (SW)/Ewan McGregor - Now there's a pairing to give Darth Vader nightmares.
Fuu (Samurai Champloo)/Gandalf (LOTR) - *snickers madly* I think Gandalf would rather date the flying squirrel.
Hiruma (Eyeshield21)/Ichigo (Bleach) - Well, it's not like Ichigo would have any say in the matter. I bet he plays good American Football too.
Inuyasha/Jack Sparrow - Jack would definately be fascinated by those ears...
Jin/Kagome - I can't decide if this pairing is brillant or cracktastic.
Kakashi (Naruto)/Kawamura (Prince of Tennis) - Kawamura is a little too much like Gai when he's excited and Kakashi/Gai just scares me.
Kenshin/Kikamaru (PoT) - Having two red heads would make the sex scenes harder to write.
Kirara (Inuyasha)/Krankor (MST3K) - Considering Kirara is a demonic cat and Krankor is an incompetent invading alien, I just don't think this will work. Then again, with that hooked beak of a nose, Kirara might just try to eat Krankor at least.
Kronos (Highlander)/Kyo (Furuba) - I'm sure Kronos' first aniversary present to Kyo would be Akito's head on a platter.
Luffy (One Piece)/Mal (Firefly) - Like pairing a kitten with a tiger. Mal wouldn't be able to bring himself to get rid of him, and Luffy would take over the ship.
Methos (Highlander)/Morpheus (Sandman) - I wouldn't mind seeing this one written, though Methos is definately too jaded for Morpheus' teenage angst tastes.
Mugen (Samurai Champloo)/Nami (One Piece) - Maybe a one night stand, but Mugen could never afford it.
Pippin (LOTR)/Sango (Inuyasha) - I think you could fit five Pippins inside her bomerang.
Sanji (One Piece)/Sanzo (Saiyuki)(1) - Two chain smoking, foul-mouthed blonds? What's not to love;)
Seta (Kenshin)/Sharpe - Well, both have been fucked over by their commanding officers at least...
Tohru (Furuba)/Urahara (Bleach) - Kyo and Yuki would kill him first. He'd have better luck with Shigure.
Uric/Usopp (One Piece) - Well, Uric wouldn't mind. I have a feeling Usopp would end up jabbering in a corner about "badgers" by the end of it though.
Vash (Trigun)/Wolfwood(Trigun) - Heh. Not only a within fandom pairing, but a popular one. I suspect a conspiracy.
Invader Zim/Zoro (One Piece) - Er... I feel really sorry for Zoro.

(1) littledrop will probably be amused to know that Sanji is voiced by the same seiyuu who voices Gojyo...

Did you know there is a "sparkly daniel trap" in the British Museum in London? It's a fake crystal skull that was made in the late 1800s that they keep on display to show how people can be fooled. (Part of me thinks it inspired that episode, but most of me is too cynical to think they actually did some research for a change.)

Actually, in the Illustrated Companion books (which Amy has), it says that the story was suggested by Michael Shanks after he read about those very skulls! I love that Stargate does make an effort to throw real stuff in from time to time.
