With the introduction of yet another ninja with artistic tendencies and fighting style I'm wondering what's up with Kishimoto and artists. Is this a new fad of his, or did I miss the obligatory ninja fingerpainting class? New character, (Sai, is it?) reminds me of that one episode/chapter of Inuyasha with the guy who fights with ink.
Loved seeing Shikamaru in charge of the chuunin exam, but wonder if that means it's going on right then, or if it's coming up or what. For someone who's so upset that he's not a chuunin, Naruto hardly seems to care (though I suppose he's rightfully focused on Sasuke). Am still annoyed at being hit over the head by the "Naruto changes everyone" anvil.
Spending far too much time thinking about how secret ninja world wars work. The historian in me finds the hints we've been given both intriguing and frustrating. Chances are I'll never be contradicted though, so I guess it doesn't matter either way.
Find it interesting that character listings have appeared on ff.net for the Naruto section. Am amused that when I looked last night, they didn't have the 4th up there, or Obito, or Rin, or several others, not to mention a few of the names were misspelled. Guess the fandom moved fast. *L* Being able to list stories by teams would be nice, but no biggie.
