I have 8 bruises all over my body as of this morning (You beat me by two, damn you ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

(though technically speaking, there are too batches of bruises on my chest that could count for about nine on their own, I've just decided to count them as two major bruises for simplicity's sake). There are many other parts of my body that are aching but haven't developed bruises yet either, the most annoying of which is on my forehead of all places and is quite bothersome on top of my continuous headache.
Was awakened (as were all my flatmates, or so I found out when we compared notes later) by a drunken woman screeching, singing and yelling outside in the street at 4:30am. It was hard to get to sleep after that so got even less sleep than expected but nevertheless got up dutifully for iron age in s. britain and attended it. Turns out it was on my essay topic so a good thing I went, but I could barely keep my eyes open so I ditched my plans to go to the national library and came home to take what turned into a two hour nap.
Will have to get some work done now I guess, but will first write more of Gentlemen of Fortune which has been writing itself in my head when I wasn't looking...
