This song meme is fun. I've been enjoying recieving and sending songs all day:)
I tried out Kendo this evening and wasn't very impressed. The etitquette was very strict and I suspect I'll have the same problems with it that I had with fencing (namely, it's not realistic fighting). The sensei was a sadist at the beginning, making everyone sit in seisan (legs tucked under, arse on feet, hands on thighs, back straight) for well over four minutes on a hard wooden floor. I've been doing martial arts and sitting in that position for six or seven years now, but even I was having trouble near the end (it's the wooden floor that does it since your ankle bones grind into it... unless you're a guy and then you can sit with your ankles crossed...bastards...). He did it to point out how hard his class was going to be, and I must admit, this is the first martial arts class I've attended that drew blood on the first day (everyone is bare foot and learning a new way of walking so feet are bound to get hurt and slashed up), but I wasn't too impressed by how 'hard' everyone was. It was an interesting thing to try, but it's definately not for me.
