Qual studying is driving me insane. (How am I going to remember all these names? *whimper*) The worst is I'm not getting enough sleep because I can't go to sleep because I'm worried about quals, and then I wake up an hour early worrying about quals. *headdesk*
One thing I've actually really enjoyed doing to relieve my stress is start going to the gym twice a week. I'd forgotten how good those post-exercise endorphins felt, and I think I actually get more work done in the evening if I exercise for an hour in the early afternoon, then go home and shower before getting back to work. This is unlike bujinkan here which is at an awkward time, is too long (2 hrs is a bit much), and drives my stress up because they keep making me teach the damn class. I hate to say it, but after quals are over, the bujinkan class might not get me back. The gym is so much nicer, takes up less time, and it's great to work on muscle groups I've been neglecting.
Have a Korean midterm on Weds, and I have to read an entire book on postcolonial Korean film by then too. Such joy.
