Reading through the Dr. Who episode guide is really far too entertaining. There's so much information and interesting facts. Now if only I were studying to take exams on Dr. Who... I'm amused but kinda puzzled by how they not only note good quotes and bad quotes, but also any innuendo laden quotes. Someone must have been bored... Probably the most interesting things are the little side features under trivia that explain such things as the history of the Daleks (both timelines), just what exactly the Doctor is a doctor of, the Doctor's age etc. Not that it matters too much since canon is very flexible when you have a show about time travel, not to mention an unreliable narrator.
For those who are wondering, I am studying for my first exam on Monday (Archaeology of Internationalism (Bronze age Med. trade)). I spent two hours reading various articles about the Amarna letters for instance. Of course, I also spent an hour creating an excel spreadsheet of which Dr. Who episodes I own and have seen. I've seen 17 , or 21 if you count the new series, plus The Five Doctors, which is honestly a lot more than I thought I had ever watched. The majority of those were Tom Baker episodes though, so I really need to make an effort to watch the other doctors. I'm quite fond of Pertwee, so I'm downloading his episodes in some sort of order, and I've already gotten ahold of some Hartnell. Not that I'm really that picky. I'll watch them all eventually, I just have to wait until they all download. Exams are probably a blessing since they mean I can have my comp on downloading, but I don't have to do much of anything and can study... when I'm not reading the Dr. Who ep guide that is;)
