Am back in NJ. Safe and sound. Had so many bags, but the check in lady didn't even blink... She also upgraded us all to world traveler plus and didn't even tell us. That was very nice actually. Despite having eight bags, not one of them was lost either.

The London bombings didn't effect anything except a few flights were canceled at Heathrow because they couldn't get enough personnel in to staff the flights. I kept up to date as we traveled with the radio in my mp3 player, but since my flight left around 2pm, I'm actually a bit behind on the news. Am glad to see friends are safe.

Am so very very jetlagged. Must get sleep, then catch up on the world. Am typing this worse than I do when I'm drunk...

I had forgotten that with my father's wallet stolen, I'm the only person home with a driving license. This means I'm spending today and probably the weekend, ferrying my father places. My car is still in the garage so we're "borrowing" my mum's car. I have a hair appointment today that my mum had no clue what time. Luckily *cough, cough*, jetlag has awakened me at 7:30am, so I have plenty of time to find out.

I don't think I mentioned that I picked up plushie/rag dolls of Zaphod and Ford from the Hitchiker's movie, did I? They were half price, and far too cute. It was hilarious to pack them away in places too since they always looked so distressed. We had to hire a stretch limo to get home last night. Have never been in a stretch limo, and never expected to be in one in those circumstances. Since my dad has no credit cards, I'm paying for everything atm too, which is really weird. Nearly fell asleep while we ate dinner at Outback last night since it was 3am for us. I've never seen my brother not eat all his food too o_O

You get more baggage allowance in World Traveller Plus, which may have been why that woman upgraded me. Either way, I'm grateful since it was nice to have leg and elbow room. I watched four eps of One Piece on the plane:D It's all just sort of filler focusing on the one character each, then flashing back a bit, but it's quite fun. I loved the Sanji and Usopp ones, even the Nami one. Chopper's was the only one that's been weak so far. I was just starting the Zoro one when my battery died. *pouts* Consequently, I watched the end of many other movies on the plane, mostly cause I could never seem to catch the beginning of anything. Thus I saw the end of the first ep of Casanova, the end of Miss Congeniality 2, the end of Hitch, the end of Robots, the end of some movie on the last days in Hitler's bunker, er... and probably more. Lost track after a bit, but wasn't all that interested so didn't care. Was reading Gormenghast as well, but didn't feel like writing so was not very productive.

I've got a lot to do today, so I better get going. It's only 9am... *sigh*
