In a stunning display of bad timing, the entire NJ Motor Vehicles computer system is down until Monday. *headdesk* Consequently, you are looking at the official chauffeur of my family until Monday. *sigh* My car, of course, will be in the garage until Monday unless B. calls miraculously in the next hour to tell me it's finished. I have no doubt it will come back to me feeling spunky now that it's had all it's hoses, steering column and kitchen sink replaced. I'm going to be very sad when my car finally fails me. There's something brilliant about driving a small, fifteen-year old car that can out acclerrate almost any car on the road. *eg* Oh yes, we loves you, my precious.
I'm not sure what to do about unpacking. Or rather, I know what I should do about unpacking, I'm just reluctant to waste so much time cleaning out my closets of all the junk I've accumulated growing up to fill them up with the junk I've accumulated in college. The nagging little voice that tells me I'll be packing it all up again in a month anyway, so why bother now, is so far winning, but only just since I did open one of my closet doors only to find my mum has taken over my clothes closet. This is impressive considering she has her own walk in closet, plus another one downstairs, plus my brother's - full. I, on the other hand, own about twenty garments in total, most of them jackets, which are consistently hung up. Oh god, I also need to go through all my summer clothing and give away all the things that no longer fit me. It is both gratifying and annoying that the majority of my t-shirts are too big on me now. I don't mind getting rid of most of them, but some of them I adore. A few have solved the problem for me by developing huge holes and rips as they fall apart. My philosophy on clothing is obviously to wear it into the ground. This isn't my fault though - you should see my mum wince every time I give something away. She's so jewish...
Also have to start job hunting soon, but will wait until weekend is over because need to recover from my holiday...
At least I have a large vanilla chai to help me ponder atm. Am also going to ignore everything to enter myself in even more icon contests this week (have been feeling deprived). Six down, four more to go.
ps. Dear Bleach mangaka, learn pacing. I thought you had it down earlier, but as these past twenty chapters have shown, you obviously don't. Tell Shonen Jump to stuff it and give you the extra week you need to figure out your plot and pacing, cause frankly, it's getting a bit confusing and feels rushed.
