Fic update, stuff, Rome

Thanks to Kilerkki, Chapter 5 of Silver and Gold is already up. Am definately spoiling the readers this weekend *L*

This cold is really beginning to wear me down. It's not gotten any worse, except for a developing cough, but it's not getting any better either. ( TMI )

Have been watching more Rome and adoring it. Am up to episode 7, though actually, I just read the TWoP of that one since I can't find a proper torrent. Enjoyed 3-6 though. The sound problem makes for annoyance and my brother keeps looking at me funny every time I try to explain why I'm giggling at some obscure reference. I utterly adore the effort they're going to to keep presenting the different societal mores. *sighes happily* I think they could stand to clarify their timeline a bit more (though I also understand that they're keeping it a bit obscure because they're fudging people's ages and stuff), and you know, age the baby, but other than that, all's good. I also really want to read some more Lindsey Davis Roman mysteries now, but it's impossible to find the volume you need just by looking in bookstores around here.

Spending far too much time thinking about how secret ninja world wars work. The historian in me finds the hints we've been given both intriguing and frustrating. Chances are I'll never be contradicted though, so I guess it doesn't matter either way.

Find it interesting that character listings have appeared on ff.net for the Naruto section. Am amused that when I looked last night, they didn't have the 4th up there, or Obito, or Rin, or several others, not to mention a few of the names were misspelled. Guess the fandom moved fast. *L* Being able to list stories by teams would be nice, but no biggie.
