Dad and I leave for Pittsburgh around 3:30am today (well, tomorrow). Compared to our Round the West trip, a two week trip to the midwest seems rather piddling, and very easy to pack for, especially since we're staying with various relatives the whole time. Enough so, that I really have nothing to do between now and our leaving time except shower. I even took a nap this afternoon in the hopes of making up for being up the entire night and tomorrow. We shall see if that works.

I've been on a crazy search for that fun book on the Gauls sacrificial sites, but have been hindered in my search because none of the books I think it might be have covers which are online, which is the main way I identify books I've read. So while I think it might have been Brunaux's Les gaulois : sanctuaires et rites which I read, I can't be certain until I've seen it, and the only way I'll see it, is if I make a trip to the NY public library. The sad thing? I think I'll do so after I get back from this trip.

I finished In the Realm of a Dying Emperor by Norma Field today, and it was quite good. My review is near the top of this page (by Arianaderalte of course).
