Icon contest pimping

I'm taking a moment to pimp trigun_awards, lj icon award contest for Trigun simply because they have the lowest turn out I've ever seen when it comes to icons and voters. While it's kinda fun to place every single time I enter, they really could use more people and I know there's icon makers and Trigun fans on my friends list, so even if you don't want to make an icon for it, try voting.

Also, there's a huge amount of these icon award communities out there which are a ton of fun to participate in either through voting or making icons. Some are very specific like utena_awards or fma_awards, others more general like bishonenawards *g* Check out the profiles on most of the award pages and you'll find links to all the ones out there atm.

My personal favourite is anime_hush where you can use any anime, but icons have to be textless. That's always much more entertaining to me then thinking up something trite to throw on an icon.

I keep forgetting to ask you... what do you want for Christmas? Or a general idea of what you'd like for Christmas at least. For instance, Erin gave me a list of books to choose from. (Yes, I got her to tell me gift ideas! ... All I had to do was be cute and say please...) But yeah. :)

I'm kinda sick of politics atm, but I might be back to reading political rants in a few months. How about you add me and I'll just set my filters so I don't have to read it for awhile?:)

That is cool. You could just bookmark it and look in on it. I'm not sure if it's actually going to last. BUT I have the honest intent of trying to make something real of it. Once I become rational again. Maybe in February, lol.
