Never turn down a brandy sour.

Smoker-san from One Piece is like a more well-adjusted and cool Inspector Javert. This amuses me to no end.

I just mistyped that Inpsector Javert. More proof that I'm slightly dyslexic. I was telling my bro this a few months ago since he was making fun of the fact that I can't tell left from right (or more accurately, I can, but I have to think about it for a second or two, which is often too late. right and left is hardwired opposite in my brain). He got me flustered so when he asked me what highway we were on, I told him 53 - we were of course, on 35... He turned to my Mum and said, "i don't think she's joking, mom." You, think?

I've been drinking a lot of water lately, and for the past few days nothing has tasted right. Are these two things related? Sa ne?

Why in the world am I suddenly reading tons of Kenshin fic again?

I am a compulsive packer. This may explain why I already have 1 1/2 suitcases packed even though I don't leave until the 7th of July. It might also just be that I'm stubbornly anal.

Sanji-san found cool glasses! Yay!

I'm also ashamed I got one of the obscure Big Brother jokes in Dr. Who this week. It's not my fault my flatmate watched it religiously every day last summer...

Crocodiles should always have bananas growing out of their heads.

I really should put up some things for sale on ebay, but also don't want to be bothered. I don't suppose any of you will make it easy on me and decide you want two huge (1m X 2/3m) Ghost in the Shell posters for a decent price + shipping?

I should also sell my desk too. But I don't want to sell my desk. It's the perfect desk and it's been mine for three years. *pout*

One Piece fic is surprisingly good. Not like the crap you have to trawl through in the Kenshin fandom. Cannot decide if this is because One Piece is easier to write, or if the fans are just a bit less... er, shoujo-y. No matter, bring on the Sanji and Zoro snarky friendship fics!

That being said, why does Zoro/Luffy seem to be the most popular slash pairing? It's not like i'm looking for the slash anyway, but one does notice these things, and all I can say is, wtf?

Mmm, I'm sure I'd like amaretto ones too. They're made the same way, just with amaretto, right?

I'm not really sure - I'm not sure what the sour part is in them. They just taste really, really good.

Which Kenshin fic?

Er, the ones I've really enjoyed have recently been recced at [livejournal.com profile] ficrecs. I also reread a few old ones (mostly cause I couldn't remember if I'd finished them...) and found as many as possible that were a) AUs of Kenshin's life, b) set in the bakumatsu or wandering years, or c) set after the second arc but before the third. All the crazy C2 lists on ff.net really helpled me find them considering how much crap there is on that site... Am currently reading Tanabata Jasmine by Nekotsuki, which while decent enough, needs to pick up a bit before I'll rec it.

Please do. You'd save me a lot of trouble. The desk is in perfect condition, and I'll charge you half what I paid for it. And I'm sure my flatmate would have no trouble in you picking it up whenever it was convienent.

It's a good desk, much better than the card tables I was going to attempt to use, so am much tempted. Not sure how I'd grab it, would have to ask Chris' parents for help. Hmm. What's half of what you paid for it?
