Why am I reading Yu Yu Hakushou crossovers? Why? Most of them are like reading train wrecks, especially the Inuyasha ones. I find it hilarious how every author "matures" Kagome's character to make her their own Kagome-sue, and then she invariably gets paired with Kurama (or Hiei, but much less rarely, which is kinda a pity since he's more her type *L*). Not that this is entirely the fanfic author's faults since Kagome's a pretty generic character anyway... Er yeah. I think I've spoiled myself for the entire Yu yu hakushou manga at this point too. Oops. Actually, the HP crossovers are also pretty bad too... Of course, I've never made it past the first two chapters of one...
Some day, I'll figure out why I tend to read long, epic, mediocre fics when I'm trying to distract myself. You'd think I'd prefer good fics, but noooo... Actually, it's probably because I like to bitch about them as I read, or at least wonder why they have 1000 reviews...
And now I want to read/watch Yu Yu Hakushou but I only have the first six dvds and I've watched them too many times. Meh.
I'm finally starting to feel better. Yesterday I threw up my breakfast but that seems to have been the result of my antibiotics reacting with my vitamins. That, or I didn't eat enough. Either way, I've been a lot more careful since I do want to keep the medicine down, and only had on/off headaches most of the day. This is good since I miss exercise and bujinkan.
I liked House last night, even if I'm left wondering who possessed Cameron this week since her character has once again gone off. *pun intended* I'm left wondering why I liked House and Stacy in this episode, but not in the last (not as a couple, but just in how they interacted, or rather, in how House manipulated the hell out of her). And, wow, they're really getting blatant with that House/Wilson subtext there, eh?
I'm working on Fake Flowers ch. 2 at this point, mostly cause I need a slight break from Silver and Gold. It's coming along nicely, though I have no idea what I'm going to actually do with it. I have a vague plot, but the chapter is already 3 pages long, which means it'll be four before I finish the scene I'm in the middle of. I generally like to keep chapters the same length so that would mean the second chapter would be finished... but it'd also mean that I'd have to commit myself to a final third chapter and I'm not sure if I can think up enough humour/kakashi torment for another chapter. *frowns* Guess I can just keep writing until I'm finished, but that'll take longer. Maybe I should just go back to working on Silver and Gold (the next chapter is, as usual, half way written).
